I went to Dr Alter for urgent alterations on a party gown, and I was honestly impressed. I needed it done on very short notice, and they were really accommodating with the timeline. The fitting turned out perfect, and they paid great attention to the details without overcomplicating anything. The gown looked exactly how I wanted, and the finishing was neat and professional. Absolutely terrible experience.
I brought my trousers with a very tiny hole, asking them to fix it. Instead, they made the hole even bigger, completely ruined the trousers beyond repair, and then refused any compensation. They told me it was not their fault, that I can do whatever I want with the damaged trousers, and even suggested I take them to another tailoring atelier. This attitude is outrageous — zero professionalism, zero accountability. Avoid this place at all costs!
